Samsung Galaxy A70 gets the stable One UI 2.5 Update

Last month Samsung pushed the One UI 2.5 for Galaxy A70s. But the Galaxy A70 was pending for the One UI 2.5 update. But today the Galaxy A70 starts receiving the stable One UI 2.5 update starting from Europe. It is like an update season from Samsung as they are delivering at least one update daily. The main reason is that before they release the latest One UI 3.0, they want to roll out the One UI 2.5 update for supported Galaxy phones.

As of now, most of the Galaxy phones received the One UI 2.5 update. And soon the remaining devices will also get the update that supports the update. It is the latest major stable update for Samsung devices that carries many changes and new features.

Galaxy A70 One UI 2.5 update is currently rolling out in Europe but it is limited to Ukraine. But it will soon roll out in other regions as well. The update is rolling out with firmware version A705FNXXU5CTK4. And it is available at around 1400MB. It’s a big update which is obvious as it brings some cool new features as well as UI improvements.

Samsung Galaxy A70 One UI 2.5 Update – What’s New

The update brings the latest November 2020 security patch on the Galaxy A70. As it is a major update you will recognize many changes in the latest One UI 2.5 Update.

Some of the new features include a change in the Samsung keyboard that lets you use a split keyboard in landscape mode. Bitmoji stickers now work on Always on Display.

There are many more features that you get on Galaxy A70 which other Samsung devices received in the One UI 2.5 update. And if you are facing any issue on your phone then expect it to be fixed in this update.

Now when it comes to updates rollout, Samsung pushes the OTA update in batches. So at first, only limited users may receive the update which will slowly be extended for other users as well. And so here you may have to wait if you haven’t received the update already. But it won’t be a long wait and meanwhile, keep checking for the update from the Software Update section.

And in case if you want to install the One UI 2.5 update immediately on your Galaxy A70 then you can use the firmware. You can download the latest firmware from the Samfirm or Frija tool.

And once you have the One UI 2.5 firmware you can flash it on your phone using the Odin flash tool. But make sure to use firmware for your region as cross flashing may not be compatible for daily use.
