Samsung has been actively rolling out Android 11 to its Galaxy devices. And the OEM has already covered most of the budget phones. Now Samsung has added one more device to the list of Galaxy phones with Android 11. The Galaxy A30s is now receiving stable Android 11 update. Galaxy A30s Android 11 update is based on OneUI 3.1 which is currently the latest custom OS from Samsung.
Samsung Galaxy A30s is a budget phone released in 2019 with Android 9 out of the box. Later the device received the Android 10 update as the first major update last year. And now the device is receiving the second major update as Android 11. Samsung has two major update policy for each Galaxy phone. And so, it can be the last major update for the device.

Galaxy A30s Android 11 is the major update so it can weigh higher than any incremental update. The Android 11 update for Galaxy A30s is available with build number A307FNXXU2CUF2. And the update is rolling out in Russia as of now. But soon other regions will join the party.
The new Android 11 based One UI 3.1 update for Galaxy A30s comes with some notable changes including the May 2021 Android Security Patch. It also brings most of the Android 11 and One UI 3.1 features. It includes Chat Bubble, improved notification controls, support for Google home controls, enhanced privacy settings, camera improvements, and more.
As you know the Android 11 update for Galaxy A30s is running out in Russia. So if you are from Russia, you may be getting the update sooner. Since the rollout happens in phases some users may get the update early while some users will have to wait. And if you want to check for the update manually then go to Settings > Software Update. And once you see the update click on Download and Install button to update your device.
But in case you didn’t get the update on your and can’t wait for the OTA then luckily the Android 11 firmware is available for Galaxy A30s. You can choose the manual upgrade option with Firmware. You can download Galaxy A30s Firmware from Samsung Firmware Downloader, Frija tool, SamFirm tool, or SamMobile website. If you are using one of the tools then enter your model and country code and download the firmware. Once downloaded, you can flash the firmware using the Odin Tool. I recommend you take a backup prior to diving into the process. That’s it.
