Samsung has started rolling out the One UI 3.1 based Android 11 update for the Galaxy A21 in the USA. The global variant of the smartphone, the Galaxy A21s, received this update in the month of April. The device was announced last year with Android 10 OS, now, it has received its first major OS upgrade. Here’s everything you need to know about Samsung Galaxy A21 Android 11 update.
Samsung is sowing the latest firmware on the Galaxy A21 with A215USQU5BUI4 build number. As of now, the update is rolling out for the SM-A215U model number, as it is a major upgrade, it will require more data for downloading the update. Besides the new Android 11 update, the Galaxy A21 is also a member of list of eligible phones which are going to get the upcoming One UI 4.0 based Android 12 OS.
The much-awaited Android 11 update on Galaxy A21 brings a bunch of new features, improvements, and updated monthly security patch. Talking about the list of features, then the update comes with Private Share, Nearby Share, Samsung Free, Eye Comfort Shield, Remove location data, Auto Switch feature, along with a few other features. You can also use the basic features of Android 11.

Samsung Galaxy A21 Android 11 update
Samsung usually release the software updates in a staged manner, the process will take some time to push the update to every phone. Now the One UI 3.1 (Android 11) update joined the staged rollout for Galaxy A21, will be available to everyone within a few days. You will get the update over-the-air, in case you have missed the OTA notification, then you can check the software updates manually.
You can head over to the Settings > Software Updates for manually checking the latest updates. It will show the available update so tap on download and install to get it on your phone.
If you’re in a haste, then you can update your device manually using Firmware. You can download Galaxy Fold Firmware from Frija tool, SamFirm tool, or SamMobile website. If you are using one of the tools then enter your model and country code and download the firmware. Once downloaded, you can flash the firmware using Odin Tool. I recommend you take a backup prior to diving into the process. That’s it.
