Samsung Galaxy A13 4G Gets Android 14 based One UI 6.0 update

Last month, Samsung kicked off the Android 14-centric One UI 6.0 update for the Galaxy A13 5G smartphone. Today, the company expands the rollout to the LTE model. Obviously, the update is rolling out with a flurry of new features and enhancements. Here’s everything you need to know about the Galaxy A13 4G Android 14 update.

Samsung is pushing the new software upgrade to the LTE model (SM-A135N) with the A135NKSU5DWL5 firmware version. At the time of writing, the update is seeding in mainland Korea, a wider rollout should commence very soon. The over-the-air update weighs between 2-3GB in size for download. Yes, it is a big upgrade compared to the security updates.

The Galaxy A13 phones were released with the Android 12 operating system. Samsung rolled out Android 13 based One UI 5.0 update for the entry-level A-series phones in December 2022. Now is the time for a second big software upgrade.

The feature list includes a new Quick panel UI, freedom to set the clock widget anywhere in the lock screen, the option to set even bigger fonts, updated Samsung apps, new Media player UI for notification and lock screen, new widgets, redesigned Emojis, and many other features.

The wait is finally over, you can now upgrade your Galaxy A13 4G to Android 14 from Software upgrade settings. For the rest of the world, at the moment, the update is in a rolling phase and will be available to everyone very soon. You will receive the over-the-air update notification on your device once the update is available for you.

You can always manually check for new updates by navigating to Settings > About device > Software update > Download and install.

Make sure to that a backup of important data before installing the new update on your device. Also, charge your phone to at least 50% in case of failures.
