Samsung almost completed the Android 12 rollout for eligible Samsung phones. Only the last few sets of phones remain for the update, mostly the entry level phones. Samsung Galaxy A12 Nacho is the latest phone that is receiving the stable Android 12 update. The update comes with One UI 4.1 which is the latest One UI version for Samsung phones. Find out more about the Android 12 for Galaxy A12 Nacho.
Samsung Galaxy A12 Nacho is an upgrade to the standard Galaxy A12 but is available in some regions only. The device was released last year with Android 11 and later the device got some security updates. And finally, the Android 12 is now available on Galaxy A12 Nacho with the One UI 4.1 update.
The Android 12 for Samsung Galaxy A12 Nacho is currently rolling out in Russia and it comes with firmware build A127FXXU5BVE4. Since it is a major update it will weigh more than security updates and so WiFi is recommended for downloading.
The latest Android 12 based One UI 4.1 update for Galaxy A12 Nacho also brings the latest May 2022 Android security patch. Talking about new features it brings features such as new widgets, very smooth animations while opening and closing apps, overhauled quick panel, automatic dark mode for wallpapers, icons, and illustrations, new charging animation, and much more.
The One UI 4.1 also brings some additional features like Google Duo live sharing feature, new image editing features including reflection and shadow eraser, share multiple files simultaneously using the Quick Share feature, and more. As of now, we don’t have a complete changelog, but once it is available we will share it with you.
If you are a Samsung Galaxy A12 Nacho user in Russia then you will get the update soon. It is also expected to be available in other regions as well. It is a staged rollout like other OTA updates and this means it can take a few days to reach everyone. You can check for the update by going to Settings > Software Update.
You can also manually sideload the firmware if you want the update immediately. But it is recommended only to users who are well aware of the Odin tool. You can download the firmware from Frija tool, Samsung Firmware Downloader. If you are using one of the tools then enter your model and country code and download the firmware. Once downloaded, you can flash the firmware using Odin Tool. Then flash the firmware to your device. If you want to do so, then I recommend you take a backup prior to diving into the process and also charge it to at least 50%. That’s it.
