Samsung Galaxy A10s starts receiving Android 11 Stable Update

Samsung already rolled out the latest Android 11 for some entry-level phones. But the Galaxy A10s users are still waiting for the update to appear. And finally, Samsung starts rolling out a stable Android 11 for Galaxy A10s. It means if you are a Galaxy A10s user, you don’t have to wait further to experience Android 11. Let’s explore more about the Samsung Galaxy A10s Android 11 update.

If you keep track of Android news, you already know that the Android 12 beta is available. And soon its stable build will be available. Since OEMs like Samsung use a custom skin to roll out Android updates, they may have already started preparing for the next big update. But also they have to first cover all Android 11 eligible phones including Samsung. It isn’t going to be difficult for Samsung as most of the Galaxy phones already got the update.

Galaxy A10s is an entry-level phone which was released in Asia in 2019 with Android 9 out of the box. And later the device received Android 10 as the first major update last year. And now finally after a year the Android 11 based One UI 3.1 update is rolling out for Galaxy A10s. Currently, it is available in Malaysia and Vietnam. But soon other regions will also join the party.

Talking about the Galaxy A10s Android 11 build number, it is A107FXXU8CUG1. And since it’s a major update for the phone, it weighs around 1GB. Also, you can expect many new features that we have seen in the Android 11 update for other Galaxy phones. We don’t have the Galaxy A10s Android 11 changelog and screenshot, but if you are a Galaxy A10s user in Asia, expect the update sooner.

The update will include features like Private Share, Nearby Share, Samsung Free, Eye Comfort Shield, remove location data, Auto Switch feature, along with some other features. As obvious, users can also access the essential features of Android 11. At the time of writing, the update changelog is not available to us, we’ll attach it once available.

Samsung Galaxy A10s Android 11 Update

As usual, this update also available to users in phases. It means some Galaxy A10s users can get hands-on it early while some users may need to wait a little longer for the OTA to arrive. Sometimes the updates don’t show up in notification and so make sure to check the update manually by going to Settings > Software Update. And if the update shows up, click on Download & Install to get the Android 11 on Galaxy A10s.

But if you can’t wait for the update to arrive over the air, then you can also manually install the update using firmware. You can download the firmware from Frija toolSamsung Firmware Downloader. If you are using one of the tools then enter your model and country code and download the firmware. Once downloaded, you can flash the firmware using Odin Tool. Then flash the Firmware on your device. If you want to do so, then I recommend you take a backup prior to diving into the process. That’s it.
