Just two days ago, Samsung announced the update along detailing fixes that the update will include. The update aims to address some common issues, including display color inaccuracies and underperforming cameras, among others.
The first update for the Galaxy S24 Ultra is currently being rolled out in Samsung’s home country, South Korea, with build number S928NKSU1AXB5. The first update weighs about 500MB in size. The update is expected to be available to users in other regions by the end of this month, as mentioned on Samsung’s announcement page.

- Expression has been improved by additionally applying color data in food mode.
- Colors have been improved by adjusting saturation and white balance in night mode.
- Image quality has been improved when zooming in on the gallery after shooting a new format DNG in the Expert RAW app.
- The expression of fast-moving subjects in backlight conditions in rear photo mode has been improved. (Galaxy S24 Ultra Only)
- The exposure and color expression of subjects (people, flowers, etc.) have been improved in photo mode. (Galaxy S24 Ultra Only)
Note: Some of the mentioned camera changes may not be available in the first update.
Along with the important fixes, the new update also upgrades the Android security patch level to February 2024.
The first OTA update for the Galaxy S24 Ultra has started rolling out, beginning with South Korea.
