Samsung announces One UI 5.0 beta program for Galaxy Z Fold 2

Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 2 is the latest smartphone to get access to the company’s new Android 13-centric One UI 5.0 custom skin. Samsung is expanding the One UI 5.0 beta program day by day to eligible phones. Although, as we are still in the early phases, the upgrade is available for premium phones – Galaxy S22, Galaxy S21, Note 20 series, Galaxy Z Flip 4, Galaxy Z Fold 4, Galaxy Z Flip 3, and Galaxy Z Fold 3, with the Galaxy A52 is an exception from mid-tier price bracket.

At the moment, the program is live in South Korea and should also be available in other markets (including the US, UK, European countries, India, China, and Germany) in the coming days. The Galaxy Z Fold 2 was released back in 2020 with Android 10 OS, the device has already received two major OS upgrades – Android 11 and Android 12, and later gets the incremental Android 12L based One UI 4.1.1 upgrade too. And now is the time for the third software upgrade – the Android 13 upgrade which is based on One UI 5.0.

As this is the first beta build for the Galaxy Z Fold 2, you may face some bugs, we donโ€™t recommend you install the beta build on your primary smartphone, but still, if youโ€™re in a hurry, then you can opt in the beta program.
