Redmi Note 9 Pro Max now receives MIUI 12.5 Update in India

After successfully releasing MIUI 12.5 update to the Redmi Note 9 and Note 9S. The company has started pushing its newest custom skin to the Redmi Note 9 Pro Max, which is the supreme member of last year’s Note 9 series. Xiaomi is seeding the latest software update on Redmi Note 9 Pro Max with V12.5.1.3.RJXINXM build number. This over-the-air patch measures around 484MB for downloading. This is the stable update, but for the time being, the OTA is limited to the users who are members of pilot testing program. The same update will come as the final update within a few days or weeks, apart from India, it will also reach in other countries.

Talking about the changes, then this time, the company did not mention much in the changelog. The release notes of MIUI 12.5 update for Redmi Note 9 Pro Max suggests this update comes with a few optimizations including system stability and reduced lags. If you’re using the Redmi Note 9 Pro Max, then you can now upgrade your phone to the MIUI 12.5 update. As for now, the update is available for select units, usually Xiaomi rolls out updates in staged manner, which simply means it might take some time to reach every device. If you’re in a hurry, then you can download the recovery ROM and update your smartphone to the latest update. Here’s the download link for complete ROM.
