Last month, Xiaomi pushed its newest custom skin – MIUI 12 update to the global variants of Redmi Note 8. Now the company has started rolling out MIUI 12 stable beta to the Redmi Note 8 Indian units. MIUI 12 stable beta build is seeding with 12.0.1.0.QCOINXM firmware version, as of course, it’s still based on Android 10. The new OTA measures approx. 2.0GB of download size. Before upgrading your smartphone, I recommend you to take a backup, before diving in to the process and charge your device to at least 30%.
To sideload the recovery ROM package (Update file), you need to head over to the system settings, then updates, then select the update package manually. Allow the prompts to install the build.
