Redmi 9A receives MIUI 12.5 Enhanced Edition update!

In the past few months, Xiaomi upgrade many mid-range, affordable flagship, and other premium phones to the MIUI 12.5 Enhanced Edition OS. Now the company has released a useful update for the entry-level Redmi 9A smartphone. Yes, the Redmi 9A starts getting MIUI 12.5 enhanced update. The latest update is seeding with a bunch of new features and enhancements. Here you can explore all about the Redmi 9A MIUI 12.5 Enhanced update.

The new firmware is tagged with V12.5.1.0.RCDMIXM software version on the Redmi 9A. As for now, the update is limited to the Global variant and is in the rolling phase, will be available for everyone within a few days. The Enhanced Edition update is based on the Android 11 OS. As it is a big upgrade, it requires more data for downloading, the firmware weighs a whopping 1.9GB of size for downloading.

The changelog suggests that, Xiaomi tweaks the MIUI 12.5 Enhanced for the entry-level Redmi 9A. The update also brings a better memory management system and smart balance improves core system management features to the smartphone. We can also expect bugs fixes and more stability with this OTA.
