Xiaomi has just launched the Redmi 8 in India with dual-camera, splash resistance, new glossy finish, and with few other improvements. Talking about the technical specifications then, the Redmi 8 dons a 6.22-inch IPS LCD display which is in 720 X 1560 pixels resolution and has a waterdrop notch on the top. The smartphone is powered by the Snapdragon 439 SoC and runs on MIUI 10 based on Android Pie 9.0. The device is available in two different RAM and storage options, It comes in 3GB/4GB RAM alongside with 32GB/64GB onboard storage. You can expand the storage up to 512GB via microSD card.

The camera is one of the biggest highlights of the all-new Redmi 8, It has a dual-lens camera setup on the back. The smartphone has 12MP primary sensor which has an f/1.8 aperture, 1.4-micron pixel size, HDR, PDAF, and some other features. It also has a secondary 2MP depth sensor. Talking about the front camera, then the Redmi 8 comes with an 8MP selfie shooter which has an f/2.0 aperture.
