Two months ago, Realme shared the updated Realme UI 2.0 based Android 11 update roadmap for Q2 (2021). And according to the new roadmap, two phones are scheduled to get company’s newest skin – Realme UI 2.0 in the month of May. However, the company has already kicked-off early access program for one of these two phones. We can expect that the update will come with a bunch of new features, improvements, and bugs fixes.
This month, Realme has scheduled to push its latest skin to the Realme X-series and C-series smartphone. Just a few days ago, Realme kicked-off early access program for the Realme X7 Pro. Now the vanilla Realme X7 is slated to get the update via trail program this month.
Aside from the X-series smartphone, the Realme C15 Qualcomm Edition is also scheduled to get the update in the month of May. But, for the first time, Realme has surprised the Realme C15 Qualcomm Edition users by releasing the update before time.
As per the details, we can expect that by the end of this month, Realme X7 users can get access to the Realme UI 2.0 based Android 11 beta update. Talking about the features, then the update is set to come with features such as intuitive UI, including new AODs, notification panel, power menu, revamped home screen UI settings, enhanced dark mode, and much more. According to Realme, the early adopters’ program is only available for the phones running on latest software. So, if you’re using the Realme X7, make sure to update it to the latest software version.
Usually, the early access program is available for limited users. It will be provided as a first come first serve basis. So, in case you’ll get the access to beta program, then here’s how you can join the Realme UI 2.0 early access program.
Open the Settings app on your Realme smartphone, then head over to the Software Update > Settings icon > apply for the Trial Version > enter the needed information. That’s it.
Before updating your device via special OTA, make sure to take a backup of important data. Also, charge your device to at least 50 percent. As I mentioned earlier, the update comes with a number of useful features, enhancements, along with the updated monthly security.
