Google is all set to bring its newest Android OS – Android 11 in the next few days, which will be available for the Pixel phones on day one. Now, other OEMs (Samsung, Oppo, Realme) are also started preparing to bring the next version of Android OS on its devices as soon as possible.
Oppo’s sister brand Realme has started rolling Android 11 Preview for Realme X50 Pro users. However, in the first phase, only 100 users will able to get the taste of the upcoming version of Android OS.
Realme recommends the Realme X50 Pro users to update their device to the RMX2076PU_11.A.35 software version to get access to the Android 11 preview form. As of now, Realme didn’t mention anything about whether the Android 11 Update Preview is based on Realme UI 1.0 or Realme UI 2.0.
Most probably, it is based on the first generation Realme UI. But, still, this release brings a slew of Android 11 features on the Realme X50 Pro. It comes with a new power menu, notifications bubble, resize PiP videos sport, new icon shapes, enhanced security, and much more.
Here’s how you can apply for the Android 11 Update Preview on your Realme X50 Pro.
Android 11 Update Preview for Realme X50 Pro
Realme X50 Pro users can now apply to the application form available under the system updates. But before applying, make sure that your device is not rooted, has 5GB of free storage, also make sure to take a backup of your data. Here are the steps to apply for Realme X50 Pro Android 11 Update Preview.
- Make sure that your device is running on the RMX2076PU_11.A.35 software version.
- Now, head over to the Settings > Software Update.
- Click on the gear icon available at the top right corner > Trial Version.
- Now submit your details > Apply Now.
- That’s it.
If your application has selected, you’ll receive the update via a special OTA update.
