Realme UI 6.0 Release Date
Realme UI 6.0 is expected to launch next month. Oppo has already confirmed the release date of ColorOS 15 skin, which will be unveiled at Oppo’s developer summit on October 17. We expect the Realme UI 6.0 and OxygenOS 15 to debut around the same time.
At the time of writing, Realme didn’t share anything for its next custom skin – Realme UI 6.0. However, the company has been testing the Android 15 beta for Realme 12 Pro+ 5G smartphone. Last year, Realme UI 5.0 beta, based on Android 14 was announced on September 21.
Currently, OnePlus is internally testing the ColorOS 15 beta on OnePlus 12 in mainland China. If everything goes fine in internal testing, we might soon see a closed beta for Oppo and OnePlus phones.
Realme UI 6.0 Supported Devices
As per Realme’s software update policy, the company provides two major software updates and three years of security updates to its smartphones. Realme UI 6.0 Features
Realme UI 6.0, similar to ColorOS 15, will boast a huge list of changes. The new skin is expected to bring a major revamp to the lock screen of the Realme devices. Apart from that, the skin will optimize animations, enhancements for large screen and foldable devices, and many more. Let’s explore new features.
Redesigned Lock Screen
Lock Screen is going to get a massive redesign; iOS-like depth effect for the clock screen. Leaked screenshots also suggest that users will have multiple clock fonts to choose from. With several customization options, you can place the clock anywhere you want. You can also add widgets to the lock screen.

Redesigned Notification Panel
Notification Panel, or, the Control Center is also going to get a redesign. In the leaked screenshot, we can see bigger WiFi and Bluetooth toggles, along with repositioned icons. Additionally, the music widget has been resized and now appears to the left of the brightness toggle.
Improved Security and Privacy
As with every major update, you can expect various improvements in the Privacy and Security section.

Talking about the other changes, then Realme UI 6.0 skin will bring some new app icons, a dynamic island-like functionality for the punch-hole camera the feature is expected to be called Aqua Dynamic Capsule, better animations, a new lock screen shortcut, and more.
