Realme UI 3.0 open beta program goes live for Realme 9i

In May, Realme originally started testing the Androids 12-based custom skin on the Realme 9i smartphone. Now the company has released a more stable version of new skin in the form of an open beta upgrade. Yes, anyone can taste the new skin now. The Realme UI 3.0 skin is loaded with a slew of new features and enhancements. Read along to know Realme 9i Realme UI 3.0 open beta update.

As always, the company has officially confirmed about the open beta program through its community forum. The program goes live for users running on any of the two versions – RMX3491_11.A.15 / RMX3491_11.A.17. Yes, if your smartphone is running on any of these versions then you can join the open beta program and try out the new features coming with the Android 12-centric Realme UI 3.0 skin.

Moving to the features and changes, then the Realme UI 3.0 open beta update for Realme 9i comes with features such as new 3D icons, Omoji 3D avatars, AOD 2.0, dynamic theming, new privacy controls, PC connect, and much more. Obviously, users can also access the essentials of Android 12.

If youโ€™re using the Realme 9i and want to update to the latest Android 12 open beta then you can easily do it from the system settings, but before moving to the steps make sure you phone has at least 5GB of free space and charged 60%. Now letโ€™s take a look at the steps.

  1. Head over to the Settings on your Realme smartphone.
  2. Then go to Software Update and tap on the Settings icon present in the top right corner.
  3. Next select Trial Versions > Open beta > Apply Now and submit your details.
  4. Thatโ€™s it.

After upgrading to the open beta build you may encounter with some issues like longer booting time, etc.
