The Realme 8i is the latest phone from Realme to get Android 12 based Realme UI 3.0 through the Early Access program. This week Realme pushed Android 12 stable and beta to its many devices such as Realme 8 and Realme GT Neo 2. And as per the Roadmap shared by Realme, the Realme UI 3.0 Early Access is finally available for the Realme 8i which is a low-budget phone.
The Android 12 based Realme UI 3.0 for the Realme 8i started rolling out today, March 30. This is Early Access which means that later we get to see an open beta before the public stable release which is a few months away. If you are interested in trying out Android 12 on your Realme 8i before the official release then you can opt for the Realme UI 3.0 Early Access program.
How to Join Realme UI 3.0 Early Access on Realme 8i
To apply for the Realme 8i Android 12 Early Access make sure your device is running on the required version RMX3151_11.A.41. Also, take a backup of important data to prevent data loss and make sure your phone is charged at least 60%. This may not work on a rooted phone.
- Open Settings on your Realme 8i.
- Then go to Software Update and tap on the Settings icon present in the top right corner.
- Next select Trial Versions > Early Access > Apply Now and submit your details.
- That’s it.
As mentioned earlier, the application will be accepted in different batches, if your application got approved, then you’ll receive the update via special OTA.
