Realme UI 2.0 stable update rolling out for Realme 7i

In the past couple of weeks, we have seen Realme releasing Realme UI 2.0 stable updates actively for Realme phones. And now it’s time for Realme 7i users to taste the Android 11 based Realme UI 2.0 update. Yes, the stable Realme UI 2.0 starts rolling for Realme 7i. About two weeks ago the Realme UI 2.0 open beta was released for Realme 7i. And as expected the stable update is here for the public. Here we are going to share more info on Realme 7i Android 11 stable update.

This week Realme also released Realme UI 2.0 open beta for a few Realme devices. But obviously, the stable update will be the highlight of this week. The Realme UI 2.0 update for Realme 7i is reported by many users in the Realme forum. And if you also have Realme 7i then expect the update any time soon.

Realme 7i was launched last year in India in September 2020 with Android 10 out of the box. And so, the Android 11 will be its first major update since its release. You can expect new features as well as many changes in the update. Many stock apps also got updated with this new update.

The stable Realme UI 2.0 for Realme 7i is currently rolling out in India with build number RMX2103_11_C.05 dated 13th May. Since it is a major update with a lot of changes, the update arrives in 800MB for users in India. As usual, the update should also upgrade the Android security patch to either April 2021 or May 2021, but as of now, we don’t know the security version. We also don’t have a full changelog for the update. But the features should be similar to the recently release Realme UI 2.0 update.

Talking about the features and changes, then the update brings all the essential features of Realme UI 2.0 and Android 11. The update will come with the features like support for third-party icon apps on the home screen, optimized night charging, new filters for drawer-mode, weather animations, new AODs, notification panel, power menu, revamped home screen UI settings, enhanced dark mode, hotspot sharing with QR, Immersive Game mode, and much more. We will update the changelog once it is available.

The Realme UI 2.0 stable update is available for Realme 7i users in batches. So, the update can take some time to arrive on some devices while some have already received the update by now. In case for some reason, you don’t receive the update notification, you can always check for updates manually. Go to Settings > Software Update. Refresh the page and it will show the latest update available. Tap on download and install to get the update.

And as you know it is the stable Realme UI 2.0 for Realme 7i, which means anyone can update their phones in 1-2 weeks. As the phone already passed early access and open beta, you don’t have to wait for more. Just make sure your device already running on the latest Android 10 update. And also make sure to take a full backup and charge your phone to at least 60% before you begin the update process.
