Realme UI 2.0 based Android 11 Early Access Program goes live for Realme X7

Realme has been diligently working to push Android 11-based Realme UI 2.0 skin to its smartphones. Now the company speeds up the process of pushing the update to the more smartphones. For the past few days, we’ve seen that the company is pushing open beta builds along with early access programs. According to the roadmap shared by the company, Realme X7 is going to get the update in May 2021. Now the news comes out that the trail program goes live for the Realme X7. Here’s everything you need to know about Realme X7 Android 11 Update Early Access Program.

As always, the company has shared the early access program details on its community forum. And as per the details, there are limited seats in the first batch of trail program. If you want to taste the features of Realme’s newest skin, then make sure to sign up to the program on time. The company also mentioned that the Realme X7 Early Access Program is available for users running on RMX3092PU_11.A.14 / A.16 / A.17 software version number.

It is going to be a major update for the Realme X7, it will knock up the Realme X7 with changes such as new AODs, notification panel, power menu, revamped home screen UI settings, enhanced dark mode, and much more. Obviously, you can also access the standard features of Android 11 alongside the Realme UI 2.0.

This time, the company has shared some additional details in the form of disclaimer, here you can check it before diving to the upgradation process.

  • Please make sure your phone is not rooted.
  • To prevent data loss, please backup your personal data before proceeding.
  • Some third-party application versions might not be compatible with Android 11 yet, after updating these applications might not be available or crashing down on your device. Therefore, it is recommended to update all your applications to the latest version available in the Play Store before your update.
  • The Early Access versions may have an unpredictable impact on your phone and effect on daily use.
  • Please ensure that the available phone storage is more than 5GB. Otherwise there will be a risk of update failure (To check the phone storage head to Settings > Additional Settings > Storage).
  • Due to unpredictable factors such as network communication and strategy adjustment, it is not possible to guarantee that every applicant will receive the update. In case the update is not received, we suggest you patiently wait for the official release.

Realme X7 Realme UI 2.0 Update Early Access Program

Realme UI 2.0 is the first major OS upgrade for Realme X7, it requires a chunk of data for sideloading, make sure that your phone has at least 5GB of free space. As it is an early access update, it is not as stable as the beta builds. So, I suggest you to wait for the open beta build, but if you’re in a haste then you can follow the below steps to take a part to the trail program.

How to Apply for Realme UI 2.0 Beta on Realme X7 5G

  1. Open Settings on your Realme smartphone.
  2. Now, head over to the Software Update.
  3. Now tap on the Settings icon placed at the top right corner.
  4. Here you can apply for the Trail Version.
  5. You can enter your information in the form shared by the company.
  6. Once done, you’ll receive a special OTA to update your smartphone to Realme UI 2.0.
  7. That’s it.

If your application got selected then you’ll receive Realme UI 2.0 based Android 11 update on your Realme X7 5G. Usually, Realme will provide the OTAs on a first come first serve basis, so, apply now to get the new update.
