Realme releases Android 13 based Realme UI 4.0 open beta for Realme 8s 5G and 9 5G

Realme is doing a good job with Android 13 updates. However, a good number of phones are still waiting to get a taste of the latest version of Android and realme’s custom skin – Realme UI 4.0. The testing of new skin is already live for select eligible models in form of early access or open beta. Today, the company has announced an open beta for two of its eligible devices. Realme announces the Android 13 open beta for Realme 8s 5G and Realme 9 5G.

Both phones need to be running on the latest available software version. As per the details shared by the OEM, Realme 8S 5G users need to update to RMX3381_11.C.07 or C.06. If you own the Realme 9 5G, then make sure that your phone is running on RMX3388_11.C.06 or C.05 build. Both number series phones will pick up the new software or open beta build with F.02 software version. Anyone can take a part in the open beta program, so you don’t have to be concerned about seat availability.

You can update your Realme 9 5G or Realme 8S 5G to Realme UI 4.0 based Android 13 open beta to try out the features such as updated AOD, a dynamic computing engine for performance enhancements, a Private Safe tool, support for more color palettes, large folders for the home screen, new editing tools for the screenshot, and more.

Whether you own Realme 8S 5G or Realme 9 5G, you can easily take a part in the Realme UI 4.0 open beta, all you need to do is, navigate to Software Update in Settings and tap on gear icon at the top right corner, then select Trial version and enter the required details. Now once your application got approved, you will receive the open beta update via special OTA.

As Android 13 based Realme UI 4.0 is a major upgrade it requires a huge amount of data for downloading, so make sure you have enough data. Also, make sure to take a backup of important data before updating your device to the new software.
