When it comes to Android updates, top flagship phones get update within a month or two after official Android release. But it takes forever for mid range and budget phones to get updates. However it could depend on brands for example Samsung rolls out update much faster for all devices.
Unfortunately I can not say the same for Realme. It can take more than half a year for devices like Realme C51, Realme C53 to get stable updates. If your phone is eligible for the update, make sure to take backup before upgrading your phone to latest version when the update is available.
