Realme kicks off Android 13 early access beta for Realme GT Master Edition

Realme has announced the Android 13-based Realme UI 4.0 early access for Realme GT Master Edition. The new skin is already available for many GT-series phones and now is the time for the two-year-old GT Master Edition. Yes, the OEM has started testing for the second major OS upgrade, if you own the Realme GT Master Edition, then you can taste new features on your phone.

Realme said, there are only a few seats in the beta program, so, you might want to be quick. The company has officially shared the details and mentioned that early access is available to the users running on any of two builds – RMX3360_11.C.12 and RMX3360_11.C.13.

If your phone is running on the older software, make sure to update it to the new version, once done, then you can join the beta program to try out the new features. If your application got selected, then you will receive the new software via a special OTA. There’s no information available for the stable rollout, but you can expect it in the next two months.

Talking about the features and changes, then Android 13-based Realme UI 4.0 skin comes with features like updated AOD, a dynamic computing engine for performance enhancements, a Private Safe tool, support for more color palettes, large folders for the home screen, new editing tools for the screenshot, and more.

If you own the Realme GT Master Edition and want to take a part in the beta program, then you can easily opt into the early access program. All you need to do is, navigate to Settings > Software Update, then tap on the settings icon in the top right corner, select Trial Version and enter your details.

Make sure to take a backup of important data before updating your device to the new software. Also, charge your device to at least 60%. You can also roll back to the Android 12 stable version in the future if you want, the steps are listed on Realme’s community forum, check the sources available in the end of this article for rollback steps.
