Realme extends update support for Realme 14 and 15 devices

Realme has announced an extended Android update support for its latest number series models. The company has added an additional year of OS and security updates to select models.

Francis Wong, Realme’s Head of Product, recently announced an extension of software update support for the Realme 14 and Realme 15 models. Starting now, Realme 14 Pro, 14 Pro+, 14T, 15, and 15 Pro are now eligible for three years of OS upgrades and four years of security updates.

Earlier, these models were eligible for only two OS upgrades, but now they get an additional year of support. While this is still not as good as some other budget phones, it’s a significant upgrade. After the extended support announcement, these models will receive updates until Android 18.

All upcoming Number, Number Pro, and Number T models will also receive the same years of support. Here’s the official statement from Francis Wong.

As evident from the statement, many announcements are on the horizon for the P series. Realme may soon also announce the extended update support for the Realme P series. This will undoubtedly help Realme to build more trust among users. Let’s wait for the official announcement.
