Realme announces Android 13 early access program for Realme 9 5G, open beta for GT Neo 2

Oppo’s subsidiary Realme adds another number series phone to the Android 13 based Realme UI 4.0 club. Realme 9 5G is the latest number series model to get access to the new skin through early access aka closed beta program. Not only this, but the OEM has announced the open beta program for its premium segment phone – Realme GT Neo 2.

As usual, Realme has made the Realme UI 4.0 beta information official on its community forum. As per the details, the early access program is available for those users running on RMX3388_11.C.06 / C.05 build numbers. There are limited seats in the program, so you might want to be quick. If your application got selected in the early access program, then you will receive the update with F.01 software version.

Talking about the Realme GT Neo 2, then the open beta program goes live for users running on any of these software builds – RMX3370_11.C.09 / C.10. As the name suggests, anyone can take a part in the open beta program, there’s no need to be worried about seats available in the program.

Moving to the list of changes, then Realme’s new Android 13-centric custom skin has features like updated AOD, a dynamic computing engine for performance enhancements, a Private Safe tool, support for more color palettes, large folders for the home screen, new editing tools for the screenshot, and more.

Whether you own the Realme 9 5G or Realme GT Neo 2, you can navigate to Settings > Software Update, then tap on the settings icon in the top right corner, select Trial Version and enter your details. If your application got selected, then you will receive the new Android 13 based Realme UI 4.0 skin via a special OTA update.
