Realme is testing the Android 12 based Realme UI 3.0 on a bunch of its phones. These are mostly budget phones as flagship phones already received the stable Android 12 update. Two other Realme phones are now gettings Realme UI 3.0 Open Beta ‘Realme 8 5G and Realme Narzo 30 5G’. In April, Realme released the Realme UI 3.0 early access for both devices at the same time. And after exactly two months of testing, Realme begins rolling out the Realme UI 3.0 Open Beta. Open Beta means anyone with an eligible phone can apply for the update to test the stable build before it goes public. Yes, these same builds that are released as stable build to the public at a later date.
As it is an Android 12 based Realme UI 3.0 Open Beta build, there is no limitation on how many users can apply for it. But before you apply for the Open Beta program you must be aware of its risks and advantages. You get to taste Android 12 features and Realme UI 3.0 features before others. But it can have bugs and for the rollback process, you need to delete your phone data.
From this update, you can expect features such as new 3D icons, Omoji 3D avatars, AOD 2.0, dynamic theming, new privacy controls, refreshed user interface, PC connect, and much more. Obviously, users can also access the essentials of Android 12.
If you have a Realme 8 5G and want to apply for the Realme UI 3.0 Open Beta, make sure your phone is updated to RMX3241_11.A.15. How to Download Realme UI 3.0 Open Beta
To get Realme UI 3.0 Open Beta on your phone, follow these steps.
- Head over to the Settings on your Realme Narzo 30 5G or Realme 8 5G.
- Then go to Software Update and tap on the Settings icon present in the top right corner.
- Next select Trial Versions > Open Beta > Apply Now and submit your details.
- That’s it.
Realme officials will now review your application. The application will be accepted in different batches, if your application got approved, then you’ll receive the update via special OTA in a few days. Before upgrading, make sure to charge your phone to at least 50% and take a full backup of your phone.
