Most people are familiar with the popular game Pokemon Go and other Pokemon titles. However, The Pokemon Company has recently announced another exciting Pokemon-based game called Pokemon Sleep. Set to be released in the summer of this year, this new game has generated considerable interest. Let’s delve into what this unique Pokemon Sleep game has in store.

Yes, Pokemon do sleep. However, as a Pokemon Trainer in this new game, you will be sleeping. And when I mean sleeping, you will be sleeping in real life and not virtually in the game. Sounds a bit strange, right? This game aims to catch multiple Pokemon when you go to sleep. It’s an interesting concept and is something that a lot of us are looking forward to experimenting with when the game comes out.
When will Pokemon Sleep Release?
The game wakes up aka releases soon this summer. The exact date is yet to be revealed, but, we do know for sure that it’s quite near. We can expect the game to be coming out by the end of July. And yes, the game will be available on Android as well as iOS devices.
How to Test Pokemon Sleep Open Beta
iOS users will have to wait a bit for the game’s app page to go live for pre-registration, Android users can easily take advantage and pre-register for the new Pokemon Sleep game. Here are the steps to pre-register for the new Pokemon Sleep game.
Pokemon Sleep Open Beta Test is currently available in Argentina, Australia, Brazil, Canada, Chile, Colombia, Ecuador, Mexico, New Zealand, Venezuela, Panama, and Peru.
- Open the Google Play Store app on your Android phone or tablet.
- Now, tap on the Search bar and type in Pokemon Sleep.
- Once you find it from the results, tap on it. You should now see the game’s page displayed on your screen.
- Tap on the Install button or Pre-Register button. A message will be displayed asking if you choose to automatically install the game when it releases. You can choose to enable or disable automatic installation.
- You have now pre-registered for the Pokemon Sleep game on your Android device via the Google Play Store.
Pokemon Sleep – How To Play?
Well, as the name suggests, Pokemon Sleep is a mobile game that helps you catch Pokemon while you sleep. Having a good night’s sleep is pretty important and this game is a great way to encourage good sleeping habits. All you need to do is keep your phone with the game installed near your bed, either on a drawer or your nightstand.
Now, depending on how you sleep and what your sleep pattern is, the Pokemon Sleep app will reward you with a certain type of Pokemon. Once you wake up in the morning, you will be able to see the different Pokemon you have collected through the night. During the daytime, you will get to raise and feed Snorlax. The Pokemon that earn at night can become friends with Snorlax and you can also feed them with berries from the rewards earned at night.
