Poco F4 and Xiaomi 11T start getting Android 13 based MIUI 14 update

Xiaomi recently began rolling out the MIUI 14 global stable build to compatible devices. Initially, the new software was only available on the company’s high-end Xiaomi 12 series phones. Today, the OEM has started rolling out the new software to two more models including the Xiaomi 11T and also for the sister brand’s Poco F4.

Xiaomi seeds the MIUI 14 software to the Xiaomi 11T with V14.0.3.0.TKWMIXM for the global model. Whereas the Poco F4 picks up the new software with V14.0.2.0.TLMEUXM in the EU region. Currently, the upgrade is available to select users, broader rollout should follow soon in the coming days.

Android 13 based MIUI 14 update for Poco F4 and Xiaomi 11T comes with a slew of new features, improvements, and fixes. The update will also bump up the monthly security patch version to December 2022. Talking about the features, then the skin brings the option to uninstall more system apps, improved performance, copy text from images, Mi AI voice assistant, a bunch of visual changes, and more. Plus the MIUI 14 takes less space on the device compared to MIUI 13.

Here’s the complete list of changes coming with MIUI 14 to Poco F4.

  • (System)
    • Your device will be upgraded to the new version of Android. Don’t forget to back up all important items before upgrading. The update process might take longer than usual. Expect overheating and other performance issues after you update – it might take some time for your device to adapt to the new version. Remember that some third-party apps aren’t yet compatible with Android 13 and you might not be able to use them normally. Thanks for your continued support.

Now whether you own the Xiaomi 11T or Poco F4, you can check the new software updates by navigating to Settings > About Device > System Updates, then check for the new updates, if the new update is available simply tap on download and install.

If the update is not available, then you can wait for a few days, or you can manually sideload the new software on your phone. Make sure to take a backup before updating your phone, also charge your phone to at least 50%.
