OnePlus has just released the twelfth OxygenOS 11 open beta update for OnePlus 8 series alongside the seventh open beta for OnePlus 8T. The latest update is rolling with July 2021 monthly security patch, system improvements, along with select new features and apps. Here you can check everything about the OnePlus 8 (Pro) OxygenOS 11 Open Beta 12 and OnePlus 8T OxygenOS 11 Open Beta 7 Update.

As there’s no stable incremental update for OnePlus 8 and 8 Pro in July, we’re expecting that OnePlus may release Open Beta 12 as the stable update next month. While, the OnePlus 8T today receives OxygenOS 11.0.9.9 update.

The newest open beta build measures around 3.24GB of size for downloading. While the incremental OTA patch weighs smaller than the complete build, it weighs around 140MB. At the time of writing, OnePlus has not officially shared any information about the open beta 12 update on its community forum, but users have already started receiving the update on their smartphone.

As I said earlier, the update will bump up the monthly security patch from June 2021 to July 2021. Talking about the features and changes, then the update brings more stability to system, Work Wi-Fi access now available in Life Wi-Fi in Work-life balance, OnePlus Store app, along with minor fixes. One of the strangest things about OnePlus Store app integration is, you cannot uninstall it from your smartphone. Here’s the complete changelog for both OnePlus 8 series (which includes 8 and 8 Pro) and OnePlus 8T OxygenOS open beta update.
