Oppo starts recruiting ColorOS 11 based Android 11 Beta for Oppo F17 Pro

Two weeks ago, Oppo had announced its newest ColorOS 11 based Android 11 custom skin. Oppo promised to begin the recruitment of its newest skin on the Reno 3 lineup and Oppo F17 Pro. And as promised, Oppo has started testing the ColorOS 11 based Android 11 beta on its latest Oppo F17 Pro in India. Here’s everything you need to know about Oppo F17 Pro ColorOS 11 Beta Update.

Oppo always announces the update announcements on its official Twitter handle or on its community forum. But, this time, the company has silently started the recruitment process of ColorOS 11 for Oppo F17 Pro. The information about the update was confirmed by the Oppo ColorOS Senior Principal Engineer, Manoj Kumar, and Tasleem Arif (Vice President at Oppo).

According to Manoj Kumar, “It is the wave of content creators and we at ColorOS would like to offer the best of customizations and user experience on Android 11, while ensuring faster updates. With F17 Pro we are pleased to offer the upgraded experience of ColorOS 11 to the ever growing and appealing mid-range smartphone market.”

As for now, the details of the ColorOS 11 beta quota are not available, but we’ll update the article, once all the details are available to us. Here’s how you can get ColorOS 11 beta update on Oppo F17 Pro.

How to get Oppo F17 Pro ColorOS 11 Beta Update

Before diving into the process, make sure that your Oppo F17 Pro is running on the latest available software version. Any Oppo F17 Pro user can register to get ColorOS 11 Beta update. These are the requirements you need to check before updating your device.


  • Make sure to charge your Oppo F17 Pro to at least 60%.
  • Update your smartphone to the latest software version
  • Take a full backup of your device data

Now let’s take a look at the steps.

  1. Make sure that your device is running on the latest software version.
  2. Now, head over to the Settings > Software Update.
  3. Click on the gear icon available at the top right corner > enter Trial Version Upgrade.
  4. Now tap on ColorOS 11 beta > submit your details > Apply Now.
  5. That’s it.
