Oppo rolls out Android 13 update for Reno 6 5G, 7 5G, and 7 Pro 5G

Oppo has just released the new Android 13 stable update for three more Reno-series phones. This time, the official version of Android 13-based ColorOS 13 software goes live for the Reno 6 5G, Reno 7 5G, and Reno 7 Pro 5G. The new software is rolling with a bunch of new features and improvements.

Oppo officially confirmed the rollout for the three Reno phones. Currently, the rollout is live in India, and will also be available in other regions in the coming days. The update is available on the Reno 6 5G model running on C.36 firmware version, Reno 7 5G needs to be running on C.27 version number. Whereas the Reno 7 Pro 5G users need to update their phone to C.14 software version.

Android 13-based ColorOS 13 upgrade goes live with F.43 build number on Reno 6 5G and Reno 7 5G. While the Reno 7 Pro 5G picks up the update with F.07 version number. It is a major upgrade for three Reno series phones, it will require more data than usual for downloading, you can connect your phone to WiFi to quickly download it.

Oppo pushed the stable Android 13 update to Reno 6 5G, Reno 7 5G, and Reno 7 Pro 5G with a bunch of new features such as the new Aquamorphic design elements, new color palettes, font, updated Settings UI, fluid Aquamorphic effects in system apps, smoother animations, updated icons, new series of AOD animations, a set of new wallpapers, new widgets, Android 13 privacy features, and more.

Whether you own the Reno 6 5G, Reno 7 5G, or Reno 7 Pro 5G, you can quickly upgrade your phone to the new software. You can check the new software updates by navigating to the Settings app and then System updates. If the update is not available on your device yet, you can wait for a few days, as it is currently in a rolling phase, wider rollout should follow soon.

Before downloading the update, make sure that your phone is charged at least 50%. Also, take a backup of important data before installing the new firmware.
