Oppo Reno4 4G & Reno4 Pro 4G Android 11 based ColorOS 11 Beta Program goes Live

As scheduled Reno 4 4G and Reno 4 Pro 4G get the first Android 11 beta. Oppo has already pushed Android 11 beta updates for some Oppo phones including Oppo F17 Pro, Oppo Find X2, and more. The Chinese OEM kicks off the first beta for both devices that brings a bunch of new cool features. Here we are going to share Oppo Reno4 4G and Reno4 Pro 4G ColorOS 11 beta program.

All OEMs are working on the latest Android 11 updates for their devices. And also many OEMs have already shared the Android 11 official roadmap. As per Oppo’s Android 11 beta roadmap, most devices already received the update. And this month the Chinese OEM has added two more devices to the list.

As of now, both Oppo Reno 4 4G and Oppo Reno 4 Pro 4G are getting the Android 11 Beta. But you can expect the stable update to release soon. The Android 11 beta program for both phones is live for users from India, Indonesia, and Vietnam. So if you want to try the Android 11 beta then you need to apply for the beta program.

The Android 11 beta brings many Android 11 features such as a new UI, new Controls, improved performance, enhanced security. And along with these, the update also brings ColorOS 11 features such as Dark Mode customization, Private System, Super power-saving mode, and more.

To apply for the Oppo Reno4 4G and Reno4 Pro 4G Android 11 beta program first update to the latest version available. 

Then go to Settings > Software Update. Click on the small settings icon on the top right corner.

Next, click on Apply for Beta Version and select Update Beta version and follow app instructions.

The update will be available in OTA after a week. It will be only available for users who applied for the beta program. If you are planning to update your device then make sure to take a backup of your data.

Beta updates are for testing purposes and also prone to bugs. It means the Android 11 beta update for Oppo Reno4 4G and Reno4 Pro 4G may also include some bugs. So we don’t recommend it as a daily driver. But works for users like me, who don’t mind bugs.
