Oppo Reno Z Android 11 (ColorOS 11) Beta program goes live!

Oppo’s latest custom skin has already been available for a bunch of new smartphones. But the Chinese smartphone OEM is also working to bring the ColorOS 11 update to the other phones as well. Now the company has started recruiting Reno Z beta users for ColorOS 11 trail program. The beta build packs a flurry of new features, improvements, and new monthly security patch. As always, the company allows a batch of users to test the upcoming update on their smartphone. If you want to sideload the ColorOS 11 beta, then make sure that your smartphone is running on the latest software version. Oppo recommends C.35 version number for the Reno Z. According to the details, users can apply for the trail program till 19th April. We can expect a global roll out very soon. This time the trail version is limited for users in Saudi Arabia and UAE (United Arab Emirates).

Talking about the features, then the ColorOS 11 comes with a full load of new features. The list includes features like FlexDrop, Oppo Sans font, three-finger gesture to translate from Google Lens, Nearby Sharing, Super Power Saving Mode, and a slew of customizations to the Dark Mode, Always-On Display, Wallpapers, Ringtones, and Icons. Not only this, but the update also packs a slew of basic features of Android 11. Aside from the features, the update will also bump up the monthly security patch on your Oppo Reno Z.

If you want to get the beta update on your device, then you need to book your seat by join the trail program. It’s easy, before diving to the steps, make sure that your smartphone is running on the latest software version and also take a backup of important data. Also, charge your smartphone to at least 50% before diving to installation. Here’s how you can participate to ColorOS 11 beta program.

  1. Connect your phone to the Internet and Open Settings on your phone.
  2. Go to Software Update. Tap the Settings on the screen.
  3. Then select Apply for Beta > Update Beta version.
  4. And then complete the steps that it asks.

After filling the Android 11 beta form, officials will review your application and within a week you may get the Android 11 Beta update on your Oppo Reno Z. If you didn’t make in the first batch then wait for the second batch.
