Oppo Reno 11 starts getting stable Android 15 update in India

The Chinese smartphone maker, Oppo has recently released the stable ColorOS 15 update for the Reno 11 Pro 5G. Today, the company has expanded the Android 15 based ColorOS 15 update to the vanilla Oppo Reno 11. The update boasts a bunch of new useful features and changes.

Oppo has started a build equivalent to Apple’s release candidate which let users get official version before the wider rollout. If you want to try out the new ColorOS 15 skin features on your Reno 11 smartphone, make sure your phone is running on one of these builds:

  • CPH2599_14.0.0.702(EX01)
  • CPH2599_14.0.0.703(EX01)
  • CPH2599_14.0.0.705(EX01)

If your phone is on the older build, update it to the newest version.

ColorOS 15 is a major software upgrade so make sure your phone has enough space for installation. The update is rolling out in a staged manner and will be available to everyone very soon. But you can apply for the update to get it immediately.

If you reside in India and owns the Reno 11, you can apply for the ColorOS 15 official version by navigating to Go to Settings > About Device > Tap the top of the page > Tap the icon in the top right corner > Select Trial version > Official Version > Apply Now.

Once done, you will receive the update, go back and select Detect the update option > Download now. That’s it.

Make sure to take a backup before installing the update on your device.
