Oppo kicks off the stable ColorOS 13 update to six more phones

Oppo is doing a great job in releasing the new Android 13-based ColorOS 13 software upgrade this month. The company has already released the new software for this yearโ€™s Find X-series and Reno series phones. Now the firm has started pushing the new software to the previous generation phones. Yes, Oppo has released the stable Android 13 update for the Oppo Find X2 series, Reno 7Z 5G, F21 Pro 5G, K10, A76, and A96. If you own any of these Oppo phones then you can now upgrade your phone to the new version.

Oppo has officially confirmed the rollout for all these models on its community forum. And as for the details, the staged rollout is already live for these models in select countries, the broader rollout should follow in the coming days. Whether it is the first software upgrade for your phone or the second major upgrade, it will require more data than usual.

The company has mentioned that your phone needs to be running on the latest software version, here are the details of region availability and software required.

  • Oppo Find X2 and X2 Pro โ€“ India Indonesia (F.23/F.24)
  • Reno 7Z 5G โ€“ Indonesia (C.27/C.29/C.31)
  • F21 Pro 5G โ€“ India Thailand (C.27/C.29/C.31)
  • K10 โ€“ India (C.44)
  • A76 โ€“ India (C.44)
  • A96 โ€“ India (C.44/C.45)

Oppo Find X2 Series phones will receive the new software with H.10 version number. Oppo Reno 7Z 5G and F21 Pro 5G will pick up the ColorOS 13 firmware with F.40 build number. If you own Oppo K10, A76, or A96, then you can receive the new software with F.56 software version. As it is a major upgrade for the Oppo phones, it brings a big list of new features and improvements. Obviously, the over-the-air build will also bring a newer version of a security patch.

In terms of features, then Oppo is pushing the stable ColorOS 13 firmware to these Oppo phones with these features – Aquamorphic design for the ColorOS 13, including new theme palettes, new font, updated Settings UI, fluid Aquamorphic effects in system apps, smoother animations, updated icons, new series of AOD animations, a set ofย new wallpapers, new widgets, Android 13 privacy features, and more.

Want to upgrade your Oppo phone to the new software, then you can check for the updates by navigating to Settings > Software Updates.

Before updating to the new version, make sure to take a backup of important data, also charge your phone to at least 50%.
