Android 13 will soon complete one year after its first public release. But there are still many devices left to get the Android 13 update including some Oppo phones as well. However, with every update release the list is getting smaller. The update is now available for three more Oppo phones.
Android 13 based stable ColorOS 13 is now available for Oppo A53s 5G. And the ColorOS 13 beta version is available for Oppo A57 and Oppo A77.
Every month, Oppo shares the ColorOS 13 roadmap revealing the upcoming update for that month. Oppo also shared a roadmap earlier this month. And going by the roadmap, Oppo has rolled out updates for these three devices almost on time.
Stable Android 13 for Oppo A53s 5G
The Android 13 is available for Oppo A53s 5G with official ColorOS 13 update. It is currently rolling out to users in India. But it should expand to other regions where the device is available. Android 13 for Oppo A53s is rolling out with build number F.30 and it’s available on ColorOS 12 build C.16/C.17. This is the second major update for the device.
Android 13 Beta for Oppo A57
Oppo begins the first batch of ColorOS 13/Android 13 beta for Oppo A57 users in India. As usual, the test build will be available to limited users up to 5000. The window to apply for Android 13 beta is April 23rd, 2023 to April. 27th, 2023. Users who want to apply for beta must update to A.30 build before applying.
Android 13 Beta for Oppo A77
Talking about Android 13 and ColorOS 13 beta update for Oppo A77, it is now available in India. And the beta users cap is 5000 just like the Oppo A57 beta. You must be on the A.30 build in order to apply for the beta. The company is accepting beta applications till April 27th, 2023.
If you have an Oppo A53s and you are from India, you will receive the stable Android 13 update soon on your device. Since it is a batch rollout, it can also take a few days. From your side make sure you are on the latest ColorOS 12 build and check for updates manually in Settings.
If you are an Oppo A57 or Oppo A77 user in India, you can apply for the Android 13 based ColorOS 13 update. To apply for the beta go to Settings > About device > Tap the top of the page > Tap the icon on the top right> Trial versions > Fill in your information > Apply Now. You can expect the beta update on your device soon after applying for the beta.
Before upgrading your Oppo phone, make sure to backup important data and charge your device to at least 50%.
