Oppo kicks-off ColorOS 11 based Android 11 Stable Update for Oppo A91 and Reno 2Z

Just a few days ago, Oppo shared the ColorOS 11 roadmap for April 2021. As per the details, the Oppo A91 is slated to receive the update on 9th April, while the Reno 2Z is scheduled for 14th April. And the company has fulfilled its promise and starts rolling out the stable update to the Oppo A91 and Oppo Reno 2Z. As obvious, the update is set to come with a slew of new features and improvements. Here you can check everything about the Oppo A91 and Oppo Reno 2Z ColorOS 11 (Android 11) Update.

The new build on Oppo A91 is seeding with F.11 software version, while the update on Reno 2Z comes with F.02 version number. For the time being, the ColorOS 11 update is limited to Oppo A91 users in Indonesia. However, if you’re using the Oppo Reno 2Z in India, then you can upgrade your smartphone to the newer update. The smartphone OEM recommend users to update their smartphone to the latest available software version.

As it is a big update, it requires a chunk of data for downloading, you can connect your device to a stable Wi-Fi network for uninterrupted downloading. In terms of changes, then the new update carries a bunch of new features like FlexDrop, Oppo Sans font, three-finger gesture to translate from Google Lens, Nearby Sharing, Super Power Saving Mode, improved Always-On Display, Dark mode, and more. It also brings the basic features of Android 11.

If you’re using the Oppo A91 in Indonesia and Reno 2Z in India, then make sure to update your smartphone to the latest software version. Oppo recommends C.51/C.53 for Oppo A91 and C.47 software version for Reno 2Z. In case you’ve didn’t receive the OTA, then you can also check the updates manually from Settings > Software Update. That’s it.

Before updating your device via special OTA, make sure to take a backup of important data. Also, charge your device to at least 30 percent.
