Oppo releases Android 13 update for Oppo F19 Pro+ and six more phones

Today, Oppo announces the new Android 13 based ColorOS 13 upgrade for a bunch of eligible models. The OEM has started pushing the new software to a total of seven Oppo phones, with two models receiving the stable update and the remaining five phones are eligible to taste the new skin via beta program.

Oppo has officially shared the details about the new update on its community forum. And as per the details, the ColorOS 13 stable update goes live for Oppo F19 Pro+ and Reno 5Z 5G. Whereas the trial aka beta program is now available on the Oppo F19, F19s, Oppo A74, A77s, and Oppo A95.

At the beginning of the rollout, the new update is available in select countries. Also, Oppo mentioned the minimum software requirement for these models. So, here are the prerequisites you need to follow to get access to the new ColorOS 13 skin.

ColorOS 13 Stable Update

  • Oppo F19 Pro+ (India) [C.28 / C.29]
  • Oppo Reno 5Z 5G (the UAE) [C.28 / C.29]

ColorOS 13 Beta Update

  • Oppo F19 (India) [C.53 / C.55]
  • Oppo F19S (India) [C.53 / C.55]
  • Oppo A74 (Indonesia) [C.53 / C.55]
  • Oppo A77s (India & Indonesia) [A.04 / A.05 / A.06 / A.07]
  • Oppo A95 (Indonesia) [C.53]

Your smartphone needs to be running on the above-mentioned OS, if your phone is already running on the required version, then you are eligible for the new Android 13 based ColorOS 13 update.

Talking about the new features and changes, then Oppo is pushing the new software with features like new features such as the new Aquamorphic design elements, new color palettes, font, updated Settings UI, fluid Aquamorphic effects in system apps, smoother animations, updated icons, new series of AOD animations, a set of new wallpapers, new widgets, Android 13 privacy features, and more.

Whether you own the Oppo F19 Pro+ or the Reno 5Z 5G, you can check for the stable Android 13 update by navigating to the Software Updates section in the Settings app and then update your phone to the new update.

Oppo F19, F19s, A74, A77s, and Oppo A95 users need to enroll in the beta program, by heading over to Settings > Software Updates, then tapping on the three dot menu icon on the top left corner and selecting trial program, fill the required details. If your application got selected, then you will receive ColorOS 13 update.

Before downloading the update, make sure that your phone is charged at least 50%. Also, take a backup of important data before installing the new firmware.
