Oppo kicks off stable Android 12 update for Oppo F19, F19s, A74 & A95

Oppo has just released a stable Android 12 based ColorOS 12 update for four Oppo phones. The four phones are the Oppo F19, Oppo F19s, Oppo A74, and Oppo A95, with the new update coming after one month of testing via the beta program. And boasts a whole bunch of new features and improvements to the four Oppo phones. If you own any of the four phones and want to update your device to the stable ColorOS 12 then, read along to know about Android 12 update for Oppo F19, F19s, Oppo A74, and A95.

Earlier this month, Oppo shared an updated ColorOS 12 rollout timeline and these phones were slated to receive the update on May 24. The company has fulfilled its promise by releasing the update on time.

In terms of availability, the new update for Oppo F19 and F19s is limited to India, whereas if you own the Oppo A74 or Oppo A95, then the update goes live in Indonesia. As it is a stable update, anyone can update their phone to the stable Android 12 update, yes, there are unlimited seats. Before moving ahead, make sure that your Oppo F19, F19s, or Oppo A74 is running on the A.24 software version. For Oppo A95 users, your smartphone needs to be running on the A.09 version. While the new build is rolling with C.09 version number to all four phones.

Oppo releases the ColorOS 12 based Android 12 update with features like new inclusive design, 3D textured icons, adopts Android 12-based widgets, new features for AOD, new privacy controls, and many other features. Oppo also packed its skin with a big list of aesthetic wallpapers, you can download these walls right here. Apart from these changes, we can expect updated security patch levels.

You can head over to the Settings > Software Update > ColorOS 12 version, then request an update. Once done, you will receive the ColorOS 12 build over the air with new features and goodies.
