Early this month, Oppo began its Android 14 rally by releasing the stable update for its clamshell smartphone, dubbed, Oppo Find N2 Flip. Today, the company expands the Android 14-based ColorOS 14 stable update to its last year’s flagship smartphone, the Oppo Find X5.

The smartphone OEM has officially shared the details on its community forum. As per the details, the update is currently limited to France and Egypt. Although this is a stable update, still you need to apply to the recruitment program to get the update if you want it quickly.

Another thing to keep in mind is, that your smartphone needs to be running on the CPH2307_14.0.0.200(EX01) software version. As it is a major software upgrade, it requires a huge chunk of data for downloading, so make sure you have enough data and storage space on your device.

In terms of new features, then Oppo Find X5 ColorOS 14 update comes with an upgraded Trinity Engine for a performance boost, optimized Aquamorphic Design with new sound effects, color systems, Aqua Dynamics (Oppo’s naming for live activities), Go Green AOD screens, new AI-powered features including Smart Touch, File Dock; new privacy features, and more.

If you reside in France or Egypt and own the Oppo Find X5, then you can apply to get the Android 14 stable update. You can navigate to Go to Settings > About device > Tap the top of the page > Tap icon on the top right > Trial versions > Official version> Apply Now. You will receive the update on your phone once your application is approved, then you can install it.

Keep in mind that your phone is running on the newest software version, also take a backup of important data and charge your phone at least 50%.
