And going by the roadmap, the Reno4 Z 5G Android 12 beta is available at the right time. Here you will get to know everything about Android 12 beta for Oppo Reno4 Z 5G.

Oppo is doing a great job on providing Android 12 based ColorOS 12 updates, well not as good as Samsung. But still, they are ahead of many OEMs and as per the roadmap, they deliver updates on time.

As of now, Oppo has only opened the application form, so you need to submit your form for Android 12 beta for your Oppo Reno 4 Z 5G. If you are a OnePlus user then you are probably aware of the ColorOS 12 features, but if not here are some of the features you can expect.

Android 12 based ColorOS 12 beta for Oppo Reno4 Z 5G brings improved UI, 3D textured icons, Android 12-based widgets, new features for AOD, new privacy controls, and many other features. You can also access the essentials of Android 12.

The ColorOS 12 beta program is for limited users. And talking about numbers, it is 5000. The beta program is available in Thailand & the Philippines. ColorOS 12 Beta application will be available till March 2021 to apply. As usual, there are some eligibility criteria to apply for ColorOS 12 Beta on Reno4 Z 5G.

  • Take a full backup of your phone
  • Charge your phone to at least 50%
  • Update to the detectable version (C.52)

As this is a beta update, there can be bugs so we don’t recommend installing it on your primary phone unless you don’t mind bugs. And if you have any of the four phones as a secondary device then you can apply for the beta without any doubt.

If you are interested in trying the ColorOS 12 beta on your Oppo phone then you can apply for it following the given steps.

  1. At first, Open the Settings app on your Oppo phone.
  2. Now head over to the Software update and click on the gear icon listed on the top-right corner.
  3. Now tap on Apply for Beta version > Update Beta Version.
  4. Enter the required details and submit the application.

Now your application has been submitted successfully. If there’s an empty slot (5000 seats) in the beta program, then you’ll receive the update within a few days.
