Oppo K10 gets stable Android 12 based ColorOS 12 update

Oppo has started rolling the new Android 12 based ColorOS 12 update for Oppo K10. The device was launched in March with Android 11 OS, now it starts getting its first major OS update with new features, improvements, and fixes. Not only the new Oppo K10, but the firm has also planned to release a big update for a bunch of older phones this month. Read along to know Oppo K10 Android 12 update details.

Recently, Oppo kicked off the big update for the recently launched Oppo A96, now it’s time for one more new Oppo phone. Oppo has officially confirmed the rollout on its community forum. As per the community post, currently, the update is rolling in different batches and may take some time to reach all eligible devices. If you reside in India, you’ll receive the big update very soon on your Oppo K10. Before moving ahead, make sure that your phone is running on the newest available software version. Oppo says that your smartphone needs to be running on the A.04 version number.

Oppo kicks off the Android 12 based ColorOS 12 upgrade for the Oppo K10 with features such as , 3D textured icons, adopts Android 12-based widgets, new features for AOD, new privacy controls, new inclusive design, and many other features. Oppo also packed its skin with a big list of aesthetic wallpapers, you can download these wallsย right here. Apart from these changes, we can expect updated security patch levels and more stability across the system.

If you’re using the recently launched Oppo K10 smartphone and want to taste the new features available in ColorOS 12, then you can easily upgrade your smartphone to the new version by simply moving to the Settings > Software Update > ColorOS 12 version, then request an update. Once done, you will receive the ColorOS 12 build over the air with new features and goodies.

Make sure to take a backup of important data before upgrade your smartphone to the new software version and also charge your device to at least 50%.
