Oppo Find X3 receives stable Android 13 based ColorOS 13 update

Oppo has started rolling out the stable Android 13 update to its last year’s flagship smartphone – Oppo Find X3 and Find X3 Pro. The company has kicked off the stable update after two months of beta testing. Last week, Oppo shared a detailed roadmap of ColorOS 13 for this month and as per the timeline, the company is expected to provide stable updates to several Oppo phones this month. And now the update goes live for the Oppo Find X3 series.

Usually, Oppo officially shared information about the rollout on its community forum and social media, but at the time of writing, the company didn’t officially confirm the rollout for the Find X3 series. But some users have allegedly received the new update with a slew of new features and changes. Reddit user (u/Volo_Kin) received the stable update on the vanilla Find X3. As per the details shared by the user, the update weighs a whopping 6.24GB in size for download. The firmware is seeding with a PEDM00_11_F.16 version number.

Oppo Find X3 series were released with Android 11 OS, last year, and the device received its first OS upgrade in the form of an Android 12 update. And now is the time for the second aka Android 13 update. Obviously, the update is based on the company’s latest ColorOS 13 skin.

At the time of writing, the update is in a rolling phase, Oppo usually released the updates in a staged manner, so, it will be available to everyone in the next few days. Currently, the update is available for the vanilla Oppo Find X3 in the UK. If you own the Find X3 or Find X3 Pro, then make sure that your phone is running on the latest software version, if you are on the latest version, then you will receive the Android 13 OTA earlier than other users.

In terms of features and changes, then Oppo is pushing the stable Android 13 based ColorOS 13 update with features like Aquamorphic design, including new theme palettes, new font, updated Settings UI, fluid Aquamorphic effects in system apps, smoother animations, updated icons, new series of AOD animations, a set of new wallpapers, new widgets, Android 13 privacy features, and more.

If you own a Find X3 or Find X3 Pro, then you will get the OTA update on your phone. You can check for the update by going to Settings > Software Updates.
