OnePlus unveils OxygenOS 14, official release in Mid-November

OnePlus launched Android 14 based OxygenOS 14 globally on August 25. About a month ago, OnePlus had initially announced the OxygenOS 14 launch date as September 25, and many of us believed it would be a stable build release because around that time the OxygenOS 14 public beta was also scheduled to release giving the company enough time for testing.

It appears that OnePlus really meant the launch and not release date. Additionally, OnePlus cannot release the stable Android 14 before Google. Google’s Android 14 official release was expected earlier this month but got delayed. And now Android 14 for Pixel is expected to be available to the public within the next two weeks.

We now also have the official timeline for the stable OxygenOS 14 release for the OnePlus 11 5G. The OnePlus 11 will be the first to receive OxygenOS 14, with the rollout expected to commence in mid-November.

So, what did OnePlus launch today? The company introduced us to all the major new features that will be available to users with the OxygenOS 14 update. In addition to this, the OxygenOS 14 Open Beta 2 has also been released for the OnePlus 11 5G.
