OnePlus Seeks More Testers for OxygenOS 15 Closed Beta on OnePlus 12

OnePlus has officially unveiled the OxygenOS 15. Following the public announcement of the new skin, OnePlus expands the closed beta program to more OnePlus 12. The company first announced the closed beta program to a small set of users two months ago under strict confidentiality.

OnePlus has started recruiting more OnePlus 12 users to try out the new OxygenOS 15 skin through the closed beta program. The company says there are 2,000 seats available in the CBT program, anyone can take part in the program and test the new features. The program is currently limited to users in India, with the application period running from October 24 to October 27.

If you don’t want to join a closed beta program, you’ll be glad to know that a more usable build for public beta to come out in a week or two. One thing to keep in mind is to make sure your device is running on any of these builds CPH2573_14.0.0.840(EX01) or CPH2573_14.0.0.850(EX01).

If you want to join the beta program, you can navigate to Go to Settings > About device > Tap Up to date > Tap the icon in the top right corner > Select Beta program and follow the steps to apply. If your application got selected you will receive the OxygenOS 15 closed beta via a special OTA update.

Keep in mind that closed beta program builds are not suitable for daily use, so I recommend you not install the update on your primary device, if you still want to try it out, then make sure to take a backup of important data.
