OnePlus rolls out OxygenOS Update for OnePlus Nord

Two months back, OnePlus knocks out the OxygenOS update for the vanilla Nord. Now the company has kicked-off another incremental update, the newer one carries software version. The latest update bags a number of fixes and improvements to battery life. As always, OxygenOS is a stable update for OnePlus Nord. Talking about the info, then the incremental patch weighs around 337MB in size, while the full OTA zip measures around 2.8GB for download. OnePlus plants the new build on OnePlus Nord with build number in India, for Europe, and​ for Global variant. It is already available to a number of OnePlus Nord users. The update will also bump up the monthly security patch version from May 2021 to June 2021.

OnePlus Nord users can upgrade their device to the new OxygeOS update. Updates on OnePlus phones are normally rolls out in batches, so some users will get the update early but the remaining users have to wait for a few more days. The OTA update will be available on your phone via notification. But sometimes we don’t get notifications even if the update is available. In that case, you can manually check for the update by going to Settings > System > System Updates.

In case if you don’t see the update in System updates but want to update immediately. Then you can download the update file from the Oxygen Updater app or any trusted websites. And then you can install it from Settings > System > System updates > Settings icon > Local Upgrade. Now select the downloaded file and wait for the process.
