OnePlus pushes OxygenOS 11.2.7.7 Update to OnePlus 9 and 9 Pro

Not long ago, OnePlus kicked-off OxygenOS 11.2.6.6 update for OnePlus 9 series. Now users are reportedly receiving yet another update on their OnePlus 9 series phones. The newer build carries OxygenOS 11.2.7.7 version number. It also brings improvements to the system alongside the new feature for the camera app. In this article, you can explore everything about OnePlus 9 and OnePlus 9 Pro OxygenOS 11.2.7.7 Update.

OnePlus is seeding the newer build on OnePlus 9 Pro with Oxygen OS 11.2.7.7.LE15DA build number and requires a download of approx. 107MB. At the time of writing, OnePlus does not officially share info about the rollout on its community forum, but, a number of users on social media have allegedly received the update on their smartphones. A Twitter user Shreyas (@tech_that_out) received the latest update on the OnePlus 9 Pro, here’s the screenshot.

Talking about the changes, then the update brings HDR support to the Video Recording (users can enable HDR by tapping the three-dots menu icon placed in the top right corner of camera app’s Video section). Apart from that, the changelog also suggests improvements in power consumption along with overall enhancements to the system. If you’re using the OnePlus 9 series smartphone, then now you can upgrade your smartphone to the OxygenOS 11.2.7.7 update. Though, it is in a rolling phase, I suggest you to check the updates manually, as there are sometimes when OTA notification does not arrive. You can check it by heading over to the Settings > System > System Updates > click on download and install if the new build is available.
