OnePlus starts rolling out OxygenOS 22.214.171.124 for the OnePlus Nord. If you own a OnePlus Nord and are waiting for an update because of any bug or just for an improvement, you can check out this update. Here you can check what’s new in OnePlus Nord OxygenOS 126.96.36.199 update.
OnePlus now has a lot of devices to manage updates. It all began with the OnePlus Nord, which OnePlus released last year other than flagship phones. But thankfully this doesn’t affect the update process and OnePlus phones still receive incremental updates almost every month.
The last update was released last month as version 188.8.131.52 for OnePlus Nord. Like other monthly updates, this also brings some improvements and new features. The OxygenOS 184.108.40.206 for the OnePlus Nord comes with build numbers IN (220.127.116.11.AC01DA), NA (18.104.22.168.AC01AA), EU (22.214.171.124.AC01BA). OnePlus Nord OxygenOS 126.96.36.199 update brings the latest August 2021 Android security patch and it comes at around 426MB. You can check out the full changelog below.
OnePlus Nord OxygenOS 188.8.131.52 Changelog
- Updated Android security patch to 2021.08
- Improved system stability
- Newly added the screenshot feature for AOD
- Newly added Bitmoji AOD, co-designed with Snapchat, which will liven up the ambient display with your personal Bitmoji avatar. Your avatar will update throughout the day based on your activity and things happening around you (Path: Settings – Customization – Clock on ambient display – Bitmoji)
Along with the official changelog, it seems users are also getting the FPS meter with this update. But it doesn’t show the FPS and it is set to 0.

The latest update is available in India, North America as well as Europe. And as usual, the update is rolling out in batches which means it can take time to reach all the OnePlus Nord users. You will receive an update notification on your phone when it’s available. But sometimes the Notification doesn’t work and in that case you can manually check for updates. Go to Settings > System > System Update and it will show the latest update.
Luckily, OnePlus allows users to install incremental OTA update through zip files. It means if you want to update your phone immediately, you can use the OTA zip file. You can download the OnePlus Nord OxygenOS 220.127.116.11 OTA file from the Oxygen Updater app. And after downloading, head to System Update and select local upgrade. Before upgrading, always make sure to take a full backup and charge your phone to at least 50%.
