OnePlus users are in for a treat as the company continues to roll out stable Android 14 updates for its devices. Over the last couple of months, a bunch of OnePlus devices have received the update. The latest addition to the list is the OnePlus Nord N30, which is now receiving the stable Android 14 update in North America. This update is based on OxygenOS 14.
The OnePlus Nord N30 is a budget Android phone released in Mid-2023. It was launched with Android 13 based OxygenOS 13. The latest update, Android 14, is the first major update for this device. It’s important to note that this might be the last major Android update for the OnePlus Nord N30, but it will continue to receive security updates for the next two years.
The Android 14 update for OnePlus Nord N30 is rolling out to users in NA with build number CPH2513_14.0.0.201. As reported by a user in the official forum, users in the USA are already receiving the new update. This is a big update so it also weighs more than one GB.
In the announcement page, the changelog for OnePlus Nord N30 Android 14 update is quite small, but you will get to experience many new features like Fluid Cloud, easily drag and drop between apps, extract text and objects from images, smart cutout, improved performance, improved Aquamorphic design and more. The new update also upgrades Android security patch to December 2023.
If you own OnePlus Nord N30 in North America, you will receive the update over the air. The update is rolling out in batches so it can take some time until everyone gets the update. You can check for the update in Settings.
