OnePlus Nord and OnePlus 8T are now receiving an incremental update just after the OnePlus 8 series update. Nord is a budget phone that comes in at a reasonable price while the OnePlus 8T is a flagship phone with top-notch specifications. Both phones are receiving open beta updates for weeks and now a stable incremental update is seeding for both devices. OxygenOS 11.1.1.3 for OnePlus Nord and OxygenOS 11.0.8.13 for OnePlus 8T.
OnePlus has a transparent update process that involves the Open Beta and then the stable update. There can be differences in features and update order between open beta and stable updates. But with incremental updates, users will get all the features at some point.
Both the OnePlus Nord OxygenOS 11.1.1.3 and OnePlus 8T OxygenOS 11.0.8.13 updates are available for all models India, Europe, and Global. Both updates also bump up the security patch to May 2021. The OxygenOS 11.1.1.3 update for the OnePlus Nord comes with build number 11.1.1.3.AC01XA whereas the OxygenOS 11.0.8.13 for the OnePlus 8T comes with build number 11.0.8.13.KB05XA. OnePlus updates are normally rolls out in batches, so some users will get the update early but the remaining users have to wait for a few more days. The OTA update will be available on your phone via notification. But sometimes we don’t get notifications even if the update is available. In that case, you can manually check for the update by going to Settings > System > System Updates. It will search for the update and display the latest update. Click on Download & Install to begin the process.
In case if you don’t see the update in System updates but want to update immediately. Then you can download the update file from the Oxygen Updater app or any trusted websites. And then you can install it from Settings > System > System updates > Settings icon > Local Upgrade. Now select the downloaded file and wait for the process.
