OnePlus Nord CE 5G and Nord N200 receive January 2022 update

OnePlus kicks off a new software update for Nord series phones – Nord CE 5G and Nord N200. The latest update bags a new monthly security patch, improvements, and fixes. OnePlus plants the new update on Nord CE 5G with OxygenOS version, while the Nord N200 receives new software with version number. OnePlus Nord CE 5G start getting the new incremental update with the firmware version. Some users have already received the update, it will be available to everyone within a few days. The small incremental update weighs only 115MB in size for downloading, you can update your phone quickly by using cellular data and WiFi.

Moving to the changes then OnePlus is pushing the new update with January 2022 security patch to both Nord CE 5G and Nord N200. The update also brings stability improvements to the Nord CE 5G. At the time of writing the update is in rolling phase and will be available to everyone within a few days. If you’re using the Nord CE 5G or Nord N200, then you can head over to the System Updates from the Settings app and check for the newer updates.

OnePlus also allows users to sideload the update. It means if you want to update immediately if the new update doesn’t show up, you can use the OTA zip file. You can download the OnePlus Nord N10 5G OTA update files from the Oxygen Updater app. And after downloading, head to System Update and select local upgrade. Before upgrading, always make sure to take a full backup and charge your phone to at least 50%.
